Der Wiener Concert-Verein präsentiert im Rahmen seiner ersten beiden Konzerte des Jahres 2019 Musik von Richard Dünser und Ludwig van Beethoven. Dünsers „Entracte“ entstand infolge eines Komposi-tionsauftrags der Neuen Oper Wien, für einen Musiktheaterabend mit Schönbergs „Buch der hängenden Gärten“ (in Dünsers Instrumentation) und dem Monodram „Erwartung“. Das Werk – ein persönlicher und eigenständiger Kommentar des Komponisten zu diesen beiden Stücken – schafft einen dramaturgischen Übergang von er einen in die andere seelische und musikalische Landschaft.

NODES (Hebrew: קשרים | kesharim) is a long-term collaboration between Austria and Israel meant to bring together leading composers, ensembles and members of cultural and academic institutions of both nations. NODES will commence with a concert series in May 2018 with performances in Graz, Vienna, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Austrian Zeitfluss and Israeli Meitar Ensemble will each present a programme with works by contemporary composers of both countries.
