Anlässlich des 70. Gründungsjubiläums der ÖGZM interpretiert Zeitfluss, das Ensemble in Residence der ÖGZM, Werke ihrer Mit-glieder. Das Programm wird etwa zur Hälfte aus Stücken bestehen, die eine Jury aus den Einreichungen zum aktuellen Call for Scores der ÖGZM (siehe S. 6 – 7) auswählt. Die übrigen Werke des Abends stammen von Mitgliedern der mittleren bis jüngeren Generation, die sich im österreichischen Musikleben und darüber hinaus bereits erfolgreich etabliert haben.

GRAZ MEETS SKOPJE

Once again an Austrian ensemble will make a guest appearance at the „Days of Macedonian Music“ – a contemporary music festival organised by SOCOM, held annually at the end of March / beginning of April in Skopje. The festival presents the best of contemporary Macedonian music creation and performance, including guest appearances by renowned ensembles and soloists from abroad performing Macedonian and world music. In 2019 the festival will lay a focus on Austrian contemporary music.

CROSSTALKS

CROSSTALKS is a concert series initiated by the OEGZM in order to provide a forum for electronic music in its manifold facets – works for instruments and live electronics, fixed media from soundscape compositions to algorithmically generated music, live electronic performances, audiovisual works and hybride forms. For this year‘s concerts in Vienna and Graz a jury will select at least four works from over 200 pieces submitted from all over the world to an international Call of Works that had been launched by the OEGZM in November 2018. The selected works and the entire concert programme will be announced on www.oegzm.at at the beginning of March.
